Attention artists

With funding from the Pontiac Funders Collaborative, Lisa Jorgensen Markevich, the Lula C. Wilson Foundation, and the MCACA, we are organizing a billboard with PLAT Performing Artists (PPA). Come and display your talents and receive a $50 stipend.

Guidelines

  1. Artists complete PPA application. Bring proof of Oakland County residency (at time of video).
  2. Artists will perform for 30 to 90 seconds on the PLAT stage. The PLAT will video record the performance in 4K. Solo performances only.
  3. Musicians versatile in several instruments are asked to choose the one at which you are most proficient.
  4. Musical accompaniment must be provided by artists on a portable device or drive prior to recording session. We have a Bluetooth system you can connect to for iPad or smartphones.
  5. Artists will receive a stipend of $50 upon completion of recording.
  6. All videos and their contents will be the property of the PLAT. Artists maintain the copyright of their original material.
  7. Application is available at www.theplat.org. Printed copies at the Green Room Café, 47 N. Saginaw St., Pontiac. Hours: 9 AM to 3 PM Monday-Friday.
